VISIBLE EMISSIONS TRAINING & CERTIFICATION

Welcome to the Online Visual Emissions Evaluation Training Course. This course is designed to be completed at your own pace prior to attending the in-person field training. Completion of this online course is required before participating in the field session.

Please read the below instructions before proceeding.

The course is divided into eight lessons, which must be completed in sequence. Each lesson includes quizzes, and all questions must be answered before advancing to the next section or lesson.

Some lessons contain instructional videos. You may rewind the video after it has been viewed; however, fast-forwarding is not permitted. The entire video must be watched before the “Mark Complete” option becomes available. Once marked complete, you may proceed to the lesson quiz.

After completing each quiz, you will have the opportunity to review the video and retake the quiz if necessary. Otherwise, you may mark the “review”lesson as complete and continue to the next lesson.

Upon successful completion of all lessons and achieving a passing score, you will receive a certificate confirming completion of the online training. You must then attend the in-person field training in order to qualify as a certified observer.
